Diptyque DP170: Pure Planar Perfection Experience the pinnacle of Diptyque Audio’s standard range. The DP170 is a sophisticated, three-way planar-magnetic loudspeaker that bridges the gap between high-end performance and refined, room-friendly design. Hand-built with meticulous attention to detail in Montauban, France, this speaker represents over twenty-five years of research and acoustic innovation. Architectural Elegance & Innovative Design The DP170 is designed to disappear into your listening room, both visually and sonically. Borrowing the advanced sandwich mechanical structure from the flagship Reference model, the DP170 provides exceptional rigidity and resonance control. By damping vibrations within the frame, Diptyque ensures that the energy you hear comes from the planar diaphragms rather than the cabinet around them. Bespoke Aesthetics Your audio system should reflect your personal style. While the DP170 comes standard in sandblasted Black 2100 or White 9010, it offers unparalleled customisation. Choose from an exquisite selection of premium leather wraps (White, Caramel, Chocolate, or Black) or select from 160 custom RAL colours to perfectly integrate these statement pieces into your interior decor. Two large-scale PPBM bass/midrange cells work in harmony with a dedicated 90 cm isodynamic ribbon to deliver visceral low-end authority and delicate, airy high-frequency detail. Push-Pull Bipolar Magnet (PPBM) Technology: By holding the diaphragm between matched magnetic fields on both sides, Diptyque achieves perfect control and low-frequency authority. Artisanal Craftsmanship: Every Diptyque speaker is crafted by hand in their French workshop. The team manages the manufacturing process like luthiers, ensuring that every unit meets the exacting standards of acoustic precision required for a high-fidelity experience.
