Fezz Audio Gratia MK2 Phono Stage Design The Fezz Audio Gratia Prestige MK2 brings a sophisticated aesthetic to your vinyl setup. This phono stage features a robust steel chassis with elegant rounded corners that define the Evolution line. You can choose from several striking finishes including Big Calm, Black Ice, and Burning Red to match your home decor. A unique sliding glass panel on the top provides easy access to the internal components. This thoughtful design allows for simple tube rolling without needing any complex tools for the job. Furthermore, the illuminated logo on the front panel provides a clear visual indication when the unit is active. Performance Experience a significant leap in audio quality with this vacuum tube phono preamplifier. The Gratia Prestige MK2 uses a two-step signal amplification section for maximum transparency and weight. It combines the highly regarded Burson Supreme Sound V5i op-amp with two low-noise 12AU7 vacuum tubes. This hybrid architecture delivers a warm yet precise sound that reveals hidden microtextures in your favourite recordings. Moreover, the improved bass response and brilliant dynamics create a truly immersive listening session. High-quality internal components ensure that the background remains remarkably silent during the quietest musical passages. Versatility This unit offers exceptional flexibility for enthusiasts using both Moving Magnet and Moving Coil cartridges. You can easily adjust the input capacitance for MM cartridges or set the load impedance for MC designs. These rear-panel controls allow for precise matching to your specific turntable setup for optimal results. Additionally, a built-in subsonic filter helps to eliminate unwanted rumble caused by vinyl imperfections or warped records. A mono/stereo switch is also included to enhance the playback of older recordings in your collection. The separate inputs for different cartridge types make it a versatile hub for multi-arm turntables. Engineering At the heart of the device lies a specially designed power supply for stable operation. It features a premium toroidal transformer from the experts at Toroidy.pl to guarantee clean current delivery. This dedicated power path contributes to the wide soundstage and holographic imaging that audiophiles crave. Because the signal paths are kept short and direct, the unit maintains excellent crosstalk and signal-to-noise ratios. The inclusion of solid absorbers on the feet further reduces mechanical vibrations that could affect the delicate audio signal. Consequently, every engineering choice serves the goal of pure and musical sound reproduction.
