The LEAK TruStream is a dedicated high-fidelity network music player designed for the modern listener. Combining LEAK’s unmistakable mid-century design with a powerful contemporary streaming platform, it delivers effortless access to high-resolution music with the warmth, balance and realism that define the LEAK sound. Designed to complement the LEAK Stereo 130 and Stereo 230 , TruStream brings the world’s music into your hi-fi system while preserving the timeless character of classic British audio engineering. Streaming Without Compromise At the core of TruStream is a high-performance streaming platform powered by Silent Angel, specialists in low-noise digital audio transmission. Using the custom LEAK TruStream app, this platform ensures stable network performance, precise clocking and low-jitter data handling — essential elements for achieving truly high-fidelity streaming. TruStream supports a comprehensive range of modern music services and playback technologies, including Spotify Connect, TIDAL Connect, Qobuz Connect, TuneIn, Internet Radio, AirPlay 2 and Roon Ready certification. Network playback from shared storage via DLNA and SMB/CIFS is also supported, along with direct playback from USB drives and external storage. The result is a streaming experience that is seamless, stable and deeply musical. Effortless Setup, Seamless Control Despite its advanced capabilities, the LEAK TruStream is designed to be exceptionally simple to install and operate. Network connection can be established via Wi-Fi or wired Ethernet, providing flexibility for any listening environment. For added convenience, WPS pairing allows compatible routers to connect instantly at the press of a button. Once connected, the dedicated LEAK TruStream app for iOS and Android provides intuitive control over setup, streaming services and local music libraries, bringing together modern convenience and classic hi-fi performance in a beautifully straightforward user experience. Reference-Grade Digital Conversion At the heart of TruStream lies the ESS Sabre ES9038Q2M Reference DAC — one of the most respected digital-to-analogue converters in modern audio design. This 32-bit architecture provides exceptional dynamic range, extremely low distortion and outstanding time-domain precision. Carefully implemented with LEAK’s low-noise power design and signal-isolation architecture, the DAC enables TruStream to reveal the subtle textures, spatial cues, and musical dynamics in high-resolution recordings. True High-Resolution Audio TruStream supports a wide range of high-resolution audio formats, enabling playback at the highest levels of fidelity. Supported formats include PCM up to 768kHz, DSD up to DSD512, FLAC, ALAC, WAV, AIFF, APE, MP3, AAC, OGG and other formats. This ensures that TruStream can reproduce everything from classic CD-quality recordings to studio-master high-resolution files with absolute accuracy. Analogue Purity, Digital Flexibility Unlike many streaming devices that function purely as digital transport devices, TruStream is designed as a complete, high-performance source component. The integrated DAC allows direct analogue connection to amplifiers via both RCA and balanced XLR outputs, preserving the full resolution of high-definition audio formats. For maximum system compatibility, TruStream also includes an optical digital output, coaxial digital output, USB Audio output, Ethernet networking as well as Wi-Fi, USB storage inputs and a dedicated headphone output. This flexibility allows TruStream to integrate effortlessly into virtually any hi-fi system — classic or contemporary. A Headphone Amplifier Worth Listening to For private listening, TruStream incorporates a dedicated current-feedback headphone amplifier that drives a wide range of headphones with precision and authority. From high-impedance studio designs to modern portable headphones, the amplifier delivers detailed, dynamic sound with excellent control and clarity. Late-night listening has never sounded so engaging. Designed in the LEAK Tradition From the pioneering Stereo 30 of the 1960s to the acclaimed Stereo 130 and Stereo 230, LEAK components have always combined engineering excellence with distinctive design. The TruStream continues this tradition. Its brushed-aluminium fascia and walnut-veneer cabinet reflect the timeless aesthetic of classic LEAK equipment, creating a system that feels perfectly at home in modern interiors. Compact in size yet substantial in execution. Perfect System Partner TruStream is designed to work seamlessly with any hi-fi system and is styled as the perfect match for the modern LEAK electronics range. When paired with the Stereo 130 or Stereo 230, it forms a beautifully integrated hi-fi set-up capable of delivering exceptional musical performance while maintaining the distinctive design character of the LEAK brand. Thanks to its unique connectivity, function, and operational simplicity, the TruStream is also a capable head-fi or desktop streaming component, or a stylish, discreet, and highly capable addition to any audio system.
