The Muon2 Streaming Cable is Network Acoustics’ new reference Ethernet cable, engineered specifically for streaming music to preserve the timing and purity of the signal and fully unlock the potential of the world’s finest Streamers and DACs. Hand-made in the UK every Muon2 Streaming Cable is individually tested against the reference product and available in 1.50 metre length as standard, with custom lengths available on application. Description Inside The Muon2 Streaming Cable The Muon2 Streaming Cable plays two critical roles for Network Acoustics: First it is the essential final component for linking the Muon2 Ethernet Filter to the streamer or switch; and second it is their new reference Ethernet cable. Featuring a new 8-core architecture designed to work at speeds up to 2.5Gb/s the muon2 Streaming Cable is built around Network Acoustics’ new reference high-purity conductor, precision wound and damped with multi-layered cotton and silk dielectric to absorb micro-vibrations. The cable is finished with NA’s proprietary shielding grounded only at the source end, and is terminated with ‘Telegärtner Japan’ gold connectors for a flawless connection. With its uniquely effective combination of materials and design, Muon2 Streaming Cable guarantees the best possible levels of noise rejection, eliminates cross-talk, and controls vibration to deliver absolute transparency and beat-perfect timing Co-Founder, Rob Osbourn says: “We put the same care into our Streaming Cables as we do our Filters, Switches, and Power Supplies, because we know the cable is often the weakest link in any system. With the Muon2 Cable, we worked directly with our manufacturing partner to develop an entirely new conductor, then tested and listened to every material and construction technique right through to the outer sleeve and connector choice. Nothing in this cable’s build is accidental. The result is the finest Ethernet cable we have ever heard” Engineered Without Compromise The Muon2 Streaming Cable is the result of 7-years of listening-led development in noise rejection, materials science, and vibration control. Key innovations include: New 8-core noise rejecting architecture designed for performance at speeds up to 2.5Gb/s. Network Acoustics’ new reference high-purity conductor , precision wound for perfect signal integrity. Multi-layered cotton and silk dielectric , chosen for its ability to absorb micro-vibrations around each conductor. Proprietary shielding, grounded only at the source end , draining noise away from the streamer. ‘Telegärtner Japan’ gold connectors , hand terminated for a flawless connection. Available in 1.5m length as standard, with custom lengths available on application. Each Muon2 Streaming Cable is hand-assembled and individually tested in the UK against a reference system to guarantee consistent performance.
