Fezz Audio Supernova Magnetar Dual Mono Power Amplifier Overview The Fezz Audio Supernova Magnetar Dual Mono Power Amplifier stands as the ultimate expression of the Supernova line. It delivers true dual mono architecture within a single, beautifully engineered chassis. As a result, each channel operates with complete independence for uncompromised stereo performance. Designed for demanding audiophiles, it combines immense power with exceptional finesse. Consequently, you experience scale, precision and control in equal measure. Construction Fezz machines the enclosure from precision-milled aluminium for superior rigidity and shielding. This dense structure resists mechanical deformation and suppresses unwanted resonance. Therefore, vibrations and microphonic interference stay away from sensitive audio circuits. In addition, the solid chassis enhances long-term durability while presenting a striking visual presence. The Moonlight finish completes a design that feels both purposeful and refined. Architecture Each channel benefits from its own independent power supply, signal path and output stage. As a result, the amplifier achieves outstanding channel separation and holographic imaging. The fully differential analogue circuit further improves linearity and lowers the noise floor. Moreover, Fezz Signature Line power and output transformers ensure remarkable headroom and authority across the frequency range. Performance Eight KT150 output valves, four per channel, provide an impressive 200 watts per side. Precision current-sourced driver and phase inverter stages maintain control and stability. Consequently, the Magnetar delivers explosive dynamics and tight, articulate bass. At the same time, it reveals delicate microdetail with ease. The wide bandwidth from 16 Hz to 80 kHz preserves both weight and air in equal measure. Components Premium components support long-term reliability and sonic purity. Mundorf MCap Evo Oil and M-Lytic capacitors ensure transparency and consistency. Furthermore, gold-plated PCB signal paths protect signal integrity. Pure Teflon tube sockets, WBT speaker terminals and Neutrik XLR inputs complete a no-compromise specification. The microcontroller-based auto-bias system also maintains optimal valve performance at all times. Integration Balanced XLR and RCA inputs provide flexible system matching. With support for 4 and 8 ohm loudspeakers, system pairing remains straightforward. Despite its immense output, distortion stays below 0.5 percent. Therefore, you enjoy scale and grip without sacrificing refinement. For reference systems that demand authority and transparency, this amplifier sets a formidable benchmark.
