Your Hi-Fi, Set Free. Lossless Bluetooth is here to stay, but most Hi-Fi systems need an upgrade to keep up. Offering an instant upgrade to systems limited by little or no wireless connectivity, the ZEN Air Blue 2 brings CD-quality Bluetooth , maximum compatibility with your devices, and our very own three-stage Hi-Fi architecture to your home listening experience. Cut the Cord. Keep the Quality. Powered by Bluetooth 5.4 for stronger, more stable connectivity, aptX Lossless rewrites the rules of wireless audio – no longer convenience with compromise. With bitrates of up to 1,200kbps , you can hear your music in true CD-quality. As our most affordable Lossless Bluetooth DAC yet, the ZEN Air Blue 2 makes this breakthrough more accessible than ever. Most Bluetooth audio devices rely on a single chipset to cover the three critical tasks of reception, conversion, and amplification. We don’t believe in that level of compromise. The ZEN Air Blue 2 benefits from our custom three-stage Bluetooth design. Inspired by high-end home Hi-Fi systems, each task receives a dedicated critical component. Bluetooth reception is handled by a Qualcomm QCC3095 chipset; an ESS Sabre DAC is dedicated to signal conversion; and custom op-amps take care of amplification – completing a carefully tailored signal path. At Home. At Leisure. On the Road. Over the years, we’ve seen users find homes for the ZEN units in cars, boats, and other places beyond the desk they were first meant for. To celebrate and support these trailblazers, we’ve added 5-12V DC power compatibility , allowing direct integration into vehicles and other battery-powered setups. Wherever you’re going, you can now take the power of a Lossless Bluetooth home setup with you. Cutting-Edge Compatibility. For those yet to make the jump into an aptX Lossless compatible source device, the ZEN Air Blue 2 offers a wide range of Bluetooth codecs to ensure the best possible performance with your setup. Alongside the standard SBC and AAC codecs , it includes Qualcomm’s aptX Classic, Adaptive and HD, all versatile and widely supported. For those looking for the highest available bitrate before going fully lossless, LDAC ensures premium-quality listening with bitrates of up to 990kbps . Power When You Need It. Making a Bluetooth DAC that works as seamlessly in vehicles as at home is about more than voltage, it’s about having what you need at your fingertips as soon as the engine starts. The ZEN Air Blue 2 powers on automatically for in-car audio setups , so your music is ready from the moment you turn the key. Together with the inclusion of a physical power button , you have total control of how and when to power your DAC, pair to your devices, and immerse yourself in Lossless Bluetooth audio.
