Precise sound. Timeless design. Spectrum II X5 is delivered as a pair of bookshelf speakers in satin black or white. With a slightly larger cabinet and a 5” mid-woofer, the X5 delivers deeper bass and more dynamics than the compact X4 – without compromising its elegant design. The speakers can be placed freely in the room or wall-mounted with Tangent’s dedicated wall bracket. Equipped with a 1” dome tweeter and a 5” cellulose-pulp mid-woofer, Spectrum II X5 provides precise, balanced, and dynamic sound. The optimized bass-reflex design, 6-ohm impedance, and 88 dB sensitivity make the speakers easy to drive while delivering great clarity and depth for both music and movies. Spectrum II X5 is the perfect choice if you want more presence and fullness in the sound – while still keeping a compact and stylish format. The Tangent Spectrum II X5 has received a “Best Buy” award from the respected hi-fi publication The Ear. The review highlights the speaker’s refined and natural sound character, clear midrange and controlled bass performance. Particular praise is given to its expansive soundstage and strong value for money – describing the Spectrum II X5 as a well-executed and convincing design. A recognition that underlines the series’ focus on design, quality and balanced sound.
