Its natural cellulose pulp cones provide exceptional realism, particularly for the reproduction of human speech. The BRC2 also incorporates the EFS tweeter used on BOREA speakers to ensure perfect sound harmony with the entire range, guaranteeing a homogenous home cinema experience. Its bass-reflex configuration with double front port enhances bass and allows for flexible installation. Its Scandinavian design, available in four finishes, blends perfectly with the rest of the BOREA range, combining simplicity and refinement. Dialogues Clear, accurate reproduction The BRC2 is a center speaker dedicated to Home Cinema configurations. Usually placed under the screen, it plays an essential role in reproducing dialogue clearly and distinctly. It is a key element in a multi-channel installation to create an immersive and well-balanced sound experience, with better localisation of sounds. Acoustic performance 16cm / 6.5″ drivers The highest-performing center speaker in the BOREA range, the BRC2 features dual 16cm / 6.5 inches drivers. This new format opens up the soundstage even further, while enhancing the speaker’s dynamics and power. Benefiting from BOREA’s acoustic advances, the drivers are equipped with natural cellulose pulp cones. This organic material, specially developed by TRIANGLE, stands out for its naturalness in the reproduction of human voices, bringing you unequalled realism. BOREA Technology The perfect Sound Tone The BRC2 uses the same drivers for which the BOREA range is renowned, including 25mm / 1 inch EFS silk dome tweeter technology and two 16cm / 6.5 inches mid-bass drivers made from natural cellulose pulp. This guarantees optimum sound harmony, perfectly matched to all the speakers in the BOREA range. They are the ideal complement to this range of home cinema speakers. Simplified installation The BRC2 uses a bass-reflex configuration with a double tubular front vent for improved low-frequency management and richer bass reproduction. Airflow is provided through the front of the speaker, allowing it to be positioned freely in or on your furniture, guaranteeing optimum acoustics. BOREA design The BRC2 is inspired by the Scandinavian design characteristic of the BOREA range, combining simplicity and refinement. It is available in 4 finishes: Black, Light Oak, Walnut and White to match all the speakers in the BOREA range, ensuring perfect aesthetic consistency, whatever the environment. Speaker Specifications • Type : Center channel with front bass reflex port • Crossover : 2 Ways • Sensitivity (dB/W/m) : 95dB • Bandwith (+/-3dB Hz) : 50Hz-22 000Hz • Nominal impedance : 8 Ω • Minimum impedance : 6 Ω * The impedance of a speaker can be simplified as an electrical resistance. The lower is the impedance of the speaker, the more current the amplifier will have to deliver. – Nominal impedance is measured at a frequency of 1kHz – Minimum impedance is measured at low frequencies. TRIANGLE loudspeakers never fall below 3 Ohms, which means they can be used with almost all Hi-Fi and Home Cinema amplifiers. Power Handling : 120W * The power handling of a speaker is the average continuous power that the speaker can accept without damaging the drivers. You can use an amplifier more powerful than the permissible speaker power by limiting the volume to 70% of the maximum capacity. Conversely, an amplifier that is too underpowered will clip and create distortion, which can also damage the speakers if it is used beyond its capacity. 3 Drivers : • 1 x 25mm / 1 inch silk dome tweeter • 2 x 16 cm / 6.5 inches midwoofer with natural cellulose pulp membrane Crossover Frequencies : 3600Hz Weight & Dimensions Speaker dimensions • Width : 580 mm • Height : 200 mm • Depth : 260 mm Box dimension (pair) (W x H x D): 655 x 280 x 350 mm Weight • Net weight : 10,84 kg • Gross weight : 11,5 kg Speaker dimensions • Width : 580 mm • Height : 200 mm • Depth : 260 mm Box dimension (pair) (W x H x D): 655 x 280 x 350 mm Weight • Net weight : 10,84 kg • Gross weight : 11,5 kg Accessories • Magnetic protection grille • Rubber feet
