Center Channel – Signature Gamma The center channel loudspeaker Signature Gamma has been exclusively developed for creating a complete Signature home-theater. A key element of a high-end audio/video set-up, the center channel reproduces human voices with clear dialogue. The speaker uses the same technology as the bookshelf and floor standing models and offers a great tonal balance. The Signature Gamma includes 4 drivers: one high efficiency horn-loaded tweeter perfect for home Theater and two 16cm (6.5inch) paper mid-woofer. The paper diaphragm is a great choice of material for reproducing human voices. On the edge of the unit a rolled suspension allows the driver to cover a wide range of frequencies. The port is positioned on the front of the cabinet for easier positioning in the room. It provides a smooth toned balance, perfectly adapted to all types of movies. Craftsmanship Luxury French Manufacturing The range conception and design are 100% implemented in France at TRIANGLE’s workshop in Soissons. Thanks to the experience gained from the Magellan range, TRIANGLE is currently offering a form of luxury craftsmanship with SIGNATURE, born from the passion and the work of its teams. Each item is made and assembled with uncompromised precision to strive for manufacturing perfection and irreproachable sound. LUXURY WOODWORK The Signature cabinets are made from 7 high-density fiberboards for an overall thickness of 21mm. This high-density cabinet helps to considerably reduce the speaker’s vibratory behavior. In view of embellishing this woodwork and of achieving a special luster, either seven or ten coats of paint are added during production in order to reach the “piano lacquer” finish. The cabinets are carefully polished to remove any flaws before adding a new layer of paint. SIGNATURE TECHNOLOGIES Over the years, TRIANGLE has developed and patented innovations, improving upon the mechanics and vibrations of loud speakers. Every driver has been entirely redesigned. A new 185mm aluminum basket with better ventilation, new version of treated paper cones to increase clarity and top quality components to benefit from greater transparency and a more refined tonal balance. Other unique technology such as the twin vent and the SPEC system play their part in making TRIANGLE’s speakers unique. Amplifier and Power Handling Power Handling : 90 W * The power handling of a speaker is the average continuous power that the speaker can accept without damaging the drivers. You can use an amplifier more powerful than the permissible speaker power by limiting the volume to 70% of the maximum capacity. Conversely, an amplifier that is too underpowered will clip and create distortion, which can also damage the speakers if it is used beyond its capacity. Speaker Specifications • Type : Center speakers with front bass reflex port • Crossover : 2 Ways • Sensitivity (dB/W/m) : 90dB • Bandwith (+/-3dB Hz) : 45Hz-22 000Hz • Nominal impedance : 8Ω • Minimum impedance : 4Ω * The impedance of a speaker can be simplified as an electrical resistance. The lower is the impedance of the speaker, the more current the amplifier will have to deliver. – Nominal impedance is measured at a frequency of 1kHz – Minimum impedance is measured at low frequencies. TRIANGLE loudspeakers never fall below 3 Ohms, which means they can be used with almost all Hi-Fi and Home Cinema amplifiers.
