Developed to complement the various models in the range, the Solstice C3 ensures perfect sonic consistency within home cinema set-ups. This 2-way centre channel speaker features a sealed-box design that promotes precise reproduction of the vocal range whilst making it easy to integrate into a home cinema unit. It incorporates the same technologies and acoustic philosophy as the rest of the range, guaranteeing perfect consistency in timbre and sound effects. A fundamental component of any home cinema system, the Solstice C3 reproduces dialogue with clarity and naturalness. Voices gain in presence and intelligibility whilst enhancing the sense of immersion. Thanks to its balanced sound reproduction and perfect tonal consistency with the other models in the range, the Solstice C3 is the ideal complement to a SOLSTICE home cinema system, offering a consistent, precise and deeply immersive sound experience. CRYSTAL-CLEAR DIALOGUES HOME CINEMA ESSENTIAL A key component of any home cinema system, the Solstice C3 has been designed to reproduce dialogue with remarkable precision and clarity. Positioned beneath the screen, it ensures voices are perfectly clear and sounds are precisely localised, fully enhancing the viewer’s sense of immersion. REALISTIC IMMERSION PERFECT HARMONY OF TONES It features the same acoustic technologies and speakers as the entire SOLSTICE range. This consistency ensures seamless continuity of sound character when sound effects move between different channels, delivering a more realistic and immersive home cinema experience. NEW TZ2540 MG HORN TWEETER ADVANCED ACOUSTIC TECHNOLOGIES The TZ2540MG embodies a significant part of the acoustic innovations developed for SOLSTICE. It is based on a combination of two new acoustic architectures developed specifically for the range: A new phase-alignment component that optimises the dispersion of high frequencies. A horn with an improved profile and a barrel-shaped base. NEW DRIVER ARCHITECTURE New Basket Developed specifically for SOLSTICE, the new 16cm die-cast aluminium salad bowl features an arch-shaped structure that is highly acoustically neutral. Enlarged midrange The membrane benefits from a new rear-glueing system that increases the radiating surface area and improves the linearity of the sound reproduction. Deep bass Low frequencies are handled by new 16 cm drivers with concave cones and no dust cap, whose design combines visual elegance with acoustic performance. PERFECT INTEGRATION REMOVABLE BASE To meet the space constraints of home cinema set-ups, the Solstice C3’s base can be removed when necessary. This saves a valuable 3 cm in height, reducing the speaker’s height to just 20.5 cm, allowing for discreet integration into AV furniture. SEALED BOX CONFIGURATION CLEAN & WELL-CONTROLLED BASS Thanks to its sealed-box design, the Solstice C3 delivers precise and controlled sound reproduction whilst making it easy to integrate into AV furniture. This design, which has no visible port, contributes to the speaker’s elegant and understated appearance. It also allows for greater flexibility in positioning the speaker without compromising its acoustic performance. NEW TERMINAL DESIGNED TO THE SMALLEST DETAIL The new terminal block features a design inspired by the new TRIANGLE cable ranges, enhanced by an elegant champagne finish. Compatible with both stripped cables and banana plugs, it combines practicality with sophistication. It is housed within a silicone ring that matches the cabinetry, whose sculpted pattern echoes that of the speakers. This attention to the finest detail extends the speaker’s visual identity across a full 360°. Design SOLSTICE ELEGANCE Available in White, Teak, Birch and Black Ash, the Solstice C3 embodies the SOLSTICE design language. Its clean lines, refined finishes and meticulously crafted details allow it to blend harmoniously into any living space, whilst maintaining perfect visual consistency with the other speakers in the range. Speaker Use Speaker Handling Speaker power handling capacity: 120 Watts * A speaker’s power handling capacity refers to the average continuous power it can handle without damaging the drivers. You can use an amplifier with a higher power output than the speakers’ power handling capacity by limiting the volume to 70 per cent of the maximum capacity. Conversely, an amplifier that is too weak will clip and cause distortion, which can also damage the speakers if used beyond its capacity. Speaker Specification • Type: Sealed-box center channel • Number of ways : 2 • Sensitivity: 92 dB • Frequency response (+/- 3dB): 50 Hz – 22,000 Hz • Nominal impedance: 8 Ω • Minimum impedance: 4.5 Ω * A speaker’s impedance can be simplified as an electrical resistance. The lower the speaker’s impedance, the more current the amplifier will need to deliver. – The nominal impedance, also known as the ‘standardised’ impedance, is measured at a frequency of 1 kHz – The minimum impedance is measured at low frequencies. TRIANGLE speakers never drop below 3 ohms, which means they can be used with virtually all Hi-Fi and home cinema amplifiers.
